Jill Fluette

Associate Mental Health Counselor

Jill is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who primarily works with youth and young adults navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. With over five years of experience in pediatric and adolescent trauma, Jill brings a strong foundation in trauma-informed care while addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, mood regulation, trauma, social communication difficulties, and life transitions.

Jill’s clinical background includes work in intensive settings such as Bradley Hospital, Bradley Schools, and home-based services, where collaboration with parents, caregivers, and other collaterals played an important role in supporting client stability and progress. While Jill values family involvement when appropriate, her therapeutic focus centers on helping clients build insight, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and develop a stronger sense of self.

Her approach to therapy is grounded in collaboration, mutual respect, and intentional directiveness when needed. Jill utilizes a person-centered and trauma-informed framework, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, alongside person-centered techniques. She strives to create a safe, structured, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful change.

Jill earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Roger Williams University in 2021 and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rhode Island College in 2024. Jill’s purpose is to support clients in navigating transitions, healing from past experiences, and moving toward meaningful, lasting growth.
